Job Description: Scientia LLC supplies award winning, high performance software for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance applications. The successful candidate will apply proven techniques to obtain/maintain IA
accreditation (e.g. Authority to Operate) for Department of Defense systems. The individual will integrate reliably into a geographically distributed team, communicate well and accommodate occasional local travel to support the
customer.
Primary Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform required IA scans and analyze outputs.
- Develop and execute Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) resulting from scans.
- Interface and collaborate with teams including individuals from external organizations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited college or university.
- 0 – 5 years of relevant technical experience.
- Works well both individually and in a group setting.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience performing scans with SCAP, Retina and/or Nessus.
- Familiarity with STIGs (DoD Security Guidelines).
- Experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Experience programming in OVAL.
- Experience programming in object-oriented languages, such as C, C++, Java.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Successfully presents technical information.
- Accurately estimates task duration and executes to schedule.
- Demonstrates creative insight and innovates under pressure.
Majors Desired: CPE, CS, Informatics
GPA Requirement: >3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen
Security Clearance: SECRET/TS is a plus
